Amethyst Group, LLC is a boutique real estate advisory and private equity investment sales firm. We execute through the acquisition, disposition, and development of residential, multifamily and commercial real estate properties. We strive to make a positive impact on our community while adding value for our investment partners. Leadership
Meet Shelita K. Compton
Shelita has over 18 years of experience in various aspects of commercial real estate including sales, valuation, and development. She provides high quality services and data driven strategic recommendations to her clients for key site selections and acquisitions for her clients. Shelita is also a certified general appraiser and has earned the distinctive MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. Shelita has appraised and valued a range of commercial real estate including multi-family, office, retail, and medical office properties for acquisition and investment purposes. Finally, Shelita has project management experience in the development of real estate with complex, multi-layered financing including low-income tax credits, historic tax credits, HOME funds, and funding for permanent supportive housing.
A native of New Orleans, LA, Shelita graduated with dual degrees from Spelman College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics as well as Georgia Institute of Technology (Ga Tech) with a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering. Shelita also obtained a Master of Business Administration, from Indiana University. She holds a broker’s license and a certified general appraiser’s license in Georgia.
